Same but different

The relocation bracket I received was different from what is in the install video. Install was basically the same install until it comes time to attach your license plate. The bracket in the install video is wide open so you can reach in and put the nuts on the back. The one I received is completely closed off on the end. After some fiddling around and loosening the bracket free from the door I was able to get the license plate on and then reattach the mount back to the door. It's better than the spare tire mounted license plate holder for sure though. Just be ready to adapt the instructions to fit your own scenario.

Great! ...but could be better with small improvements

The bracket is heavy duty and built well. The price is decent compared to similar products out there. The youtube install video was good quality other than the annoying loud background music. I do wish there were paper instructions as well because there was a really long bolt and a flat bracket that I had no idea what they were for. I wish they would have added welded nuts on the back for mounting the license plate because when it is on the bronco, those bolts will be hard to get to. I hope I never need to take my plate off. I have a sasquatch and the tire touches the light. They should reposition the light to the top for bigger tires. Overall, I am happy with my purchase since my aftermarket rear bumper has no spot for a plate.

Nice relocation kit

Well made kit with nicely powder coated parts. Wiring was straight forward and the video instructions were easy to follow. For me putting on the license plate to the bracket first helped because it's tough to put on once installed.

awesome product

super easy install. no rattling while bouncing down the trail. I have a sasquatch with MT tires and the light just barely touched the tire but doesn't have enough contact to put pressure on it.

License plate relocation

The relocation kit is well put together. The quality is top notch. The video that is available for installation instructions is very informative and covers every aspect of the installation process. I would like to make 2 suggestions, install threaded inserts for mounting the license plate to the bracket, it is not an easy task putting the license plate on. Also the light that is supplied with the kit, is bright however it sits so close to the plate that if you have a frame around the plate it has to be trimmed to fit and it also blocks some of the light that is being emmited.

Easy to install. Does what it needs to. I do wish there were printed instructions as well
