When I went to buy a hard top the website said shipping was FREE! After checking off what I wanted I learned that shipping was free, but it was not insured and if I wanted the $5,000 hard top insured it would cost $75. $75 is not a lot but it is not free! I was then told that if I let the FedEx driver leave before inspecting the item that I would not be able to file a claim and I would be out $5,000! This is a lie, and I responded to the e-mail saying so. Turn offroad admitted that I was right but said that they were trying to make sure I was there for delivery. The product is good, the people are basicly dishonest.
Items were very well packaged even with a slightly damaged box there was no damaged to the item. Only think I would change is adding instructions in the package instead of the youtube videos.
Quality tire carrier. Fairly easy install, easier with two people due to weight. You tube video was extremely helpful.
Upon arrival I was impressed with the thought that went into securing the hardtop for shipping. They’ve even added a couple more anchor points to help than what’s shown in their unpacking video. The crate was wrapped with plastic and tore a little when it arrived ( I was expecting cardboard protection like in the unpacking video) but the top was in great condition minus the cover for the window wiper motor that had fallen off but was still in the crate fortunately.
