At Turn Offroad, our passion for the 6th generation Ford Bronco goes beyond just a love for the vehicle. It's a culture of offroad enthusiasts who share a bond over our love for adventure and overcoming obstacles.
Founded by and owned by Cole McMath, whose family has been crafting offroad parts for generations, Turn Offroad was born out of a desire to build products that uphold the legendary reputation of the Ford Bronco.
As fellow Bronco owners, we understand the drive to explore the unknown, to push beyond our limits, and to conquer the unbeaten path. Research & Development
At Turn Offroad, we take product quality and user satisfaction seriously. That's why every product we produce undergoes a rigorous testing process before it's released to the public for sale.
Our multi-step research and development process is designed to ensure that every product we offer is fully operational and user-friendly. We enlist the expertise of industry professionals to rigorously test and evaluate our products, leaving no stone unturned in our quest for perfection.

Stage 1: 3D Scanning
At Turn Offroad, we leverage the latest technology to ensure that every product we design and develop is of the highest quality. Our research and development process starts with state-of-the-art Artec EVA 3D scanners, which enable us to obtain a complete model of the OEM mounting location for the part.
This data is then transformed into a solid model, which we use to design and test our initial product in a CAD program. By utilizing this cutting-edge technology, we can ensure that the design and engineering of the product are sound and accurate from the very beginning, eliminating the need for multiple prototypes.
With a solid foundation established in the CAD program, we can confidently move forward in the development process, making any necessary adjustments with precision and efficiency. Our commitment to utilizing technology allows us to streamline the research and development process, resulting in high-quality products that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.
Step 2: Prototype production
Once a design has been vetted by our engineers and designers, it's time for our fabricators to step in and build the first prototype.
This process requires a keen eye for detail and precision, as our fabricators use exact measurements and CNC laser cuts and bends to create a product that's identical to the original design in the CAD software.
Our fabricators' expertise allows us to create products that are not only functional and durable but also visually appealing. They take pride in their work and are committed to producing products that exceed our customers' expectations.
Step 3: Installation
Once a product has been built and tested, it's installed by one of our experienced technicians.
Our technicians understand the unique needs of offroaders, and they take note of how the product installation can be simplified to make it as user-friendly as possible. They approach every installation with the same passion and attention to detail as they would if they were installing the product in their own vehicle.
We believe that having offroad enthusiasts as our technicians gives us an edge in product development. They understand firsthand the challenges that offroaders face and are better equipped to provide feedback on how to make our products more effective and efficient.
Step 4: Testing
We take product testing to the next level with our comprehensive 3-stage testing process. Our testing process is designed to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of functionality, durability, and convenience.
The first and most rigorous testing phase is trail testing. We take our products to trails in Southern California, Utah, and Arizona and put them to the test. By using the product on the trails first, we can locate and address any areas that could be improved to make the product more functional.
The second category is road testing. We take the vehicle on an extended road trip to ensure that there are no annoying rattles, wind noise, or vibrations that could make using our products less enjoyable for customers who drive long distances frequently.
The third and final category of testing is daily driving. Our owner has the product installed on his Bronco and drives it to and from work and running errands. This phase of testing ensures that the product is family-friendly and does not get in the way when transporting kids, dogs, groceries, and other everyday items.
Through our rigorous 3-stage testing process, we're able to ensure that our products are up to any challenge and are just as at home on the trail as they are in daily life.
