Well Built, But Not Perfect

The carrier itself is very solid and does what it’s supposed to do — it takes the stress off the tailgate when running a larger spare tire. That part of the design works well and is the main reason I bought it.

The instructions need improvement. Torque specs, install order, and adjustment steps are not clearly defined. The install is not necessarily difficult, but it can be time-consuming because of the lack of clear guidance.

The camera mount was the biggest issue on my install. The camera did not fit tightly in the mount and would move around inside the housing. As designed, it did not hold the camera securely in the correct position. I had to modify the mount myself using rubber and epoxy to get the camera to sit correctly and hold position. I have since heard similar feedback from other users.

The hardware is mostly coated fasteners, which work, but long-term I could see some rust depending on climate and use.

Overall, the carrier structure is strong and it solves the spare tire leverage problem, but the instructions, camera mount design, and hardware quality could be improved. Simple and sleek

After deciding to go with a 37” tire on a 22x12 wheel, Even though it states it’s for +40 to -40, I went with a -44 offset and it fits perfect, adds a lot of character to overall esthetic and fairly simple to install. I have the reinforcement kit along with the spare tire carrier, looks super clean. Thanks

Easy install and very adjustable

Installed the TC3-M1 HD Tire Carrier Tailgate Reinforcement a couple of months ago with the factory tire carrier and was very impressed with the load compacity. Just upgraded to 37" tires with aftermarket rims so needed to get rid of the OEM carrier. The Turn Adjustable Tire Carrier was very easy to install & is very adjustable. Camera view is clear and does not show any part of the tire. I think i will need to carry a ladder to access my storage box on the tire shelf :)

Great product

The tire carrier is the third item I’ve purchased from Turn Offroad, and I’m very impressed with their products. This tire carrier has significantly reduced the rattling from my aftermarket spare tire.

Very easy to install. I love the adjustability. This gives me because I have a -12 offset rim now with this installed my camera view is clear and does not show part of my rim.

Great product and a must have for any bronco

If you have after market wheels and tires on your Bronco this full adjustable spare tire carrier is a must have adjustable height and depth allows any/ most tire combos to fit like factory again

Tire carrier & camera mount 😍

This was a very easy install. The best thing I like about it is I can adjust the placement of the tire and camera so that now my -12 rim and tire sets nice and tight against the tailgate support and the camera is back to factory view

GREAT product, and GREAT service

I previously had a 4WP aftermarket tire carrier, and the tire was bouncing all over the place when hitting bumps (the tire doesn't sit against the bump stops with that aftermarket carrier). It was loud, and was dangerous.

I found this tire carrier, and it's perfect. It sits really close to the sheet metal so it looks nice, and because it's adjustable it allows the tire use the factory bump stops for additional stability.

Last, I had a couple of issues with the original kit that was delivered. My 2022 Base Bronco didn't have the correct camera plug to use the extension wire included in the kit, and for some reason the kit's 3rd brake light extension arms didn't provide enough space for the windshield wiper on the hard top. However, their support team was AWESOME. They immediately sent out a kit to deal with the camera, and we talked through how to get the extension arms to work until we got it figured out. They were even sending pictures from their workshop showing me what to do. In the end , it all got worked out and I love the tire carrier. It looks much better, and is MUCH safer than the 4WP tire carrier.
