I really like how the winch plate looks and how easy the installation was. My Smittybilt winch installed to the plate without any modifications. The Turn Offroad videos were helpful in completing the installation. One note: if you do not have any OEM wiring on your front bumper (which mine did not) you still need to watch the wiring video to see the instructions for removing the OEM tow hook brackets.

The mounting plate itself is simple to mount. The instrutional video is VERY wrong on the sensors. You can clearly see the parking sensors are NOT removed from the original bumper in the video, then the rubber caps are not removed but are left covering the sensors in the winch mount. Not to mention the direction of the actual female connecting end is oppisite what is in the video when he demonstrates how to "simply" plug it in. I am going to contact them about this. The product though is excellant. Just now you cannot use cruise control because your sensor are "blocked" according to you bronco. Even of course removing the rubber caps. Something does match up with the video, and how it actually works.
Upgraded to this winch plate and I'm impressed with the quality. Makes winch installation straightforward.
The winch plate is solid and adds versatility to my Bronco's front bumper. A necessary upgrade for off-roading.
