Bought this with the extra spacer for my Bronco Raptor with 37" tires. Great quality, solid. The hinges on the tailgate are different on the Raptor, and require drilling a hole in the mount for different spacing, which did line up. However, with the jerry can mount on, the tailgate can only be opened 45 degrees before it smashes into the tail-light. The more you know!
This Jerry can mount is amazing, made well and was extremely easy to install. Love that you can lock the latch. If you already have a tailgate reinforcement from another brand, all you need to do is purchase Turn Offroad’s tailgate molle panel/ mount and you’re good to go!
My Jerry Can mount finally arrived after 3 months. But it comes with no instructions, there are no instructions on the internet, and the company said there are no instructions. I was sent a video link that showed 5 seconds of the jerry can mount already installed. How does that help? The quality of the product looks very good though. It’s a shame they didn’t think to even make a simple instruction sheet.
The item I recieved was great and good quality. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because my wife already bought one and all I did was open the box, the packaging was never opened inside and they are charging me 20% restocking fee which to me is high for only having to tape up the box and sending it back on my dime. Other than that, good product.
I have to schlep my kids sports gear to and from practice, games and bike races, I feel confident that my Bronco will not sustain any damage to the interior panels now, plus they loof AWESOME!
Once I got my soft top removed (less than 10mins), my friend and I got it installed in about 15 mins. Hopes all lined up. I wish aircraft maintenance was this easy. Thanks guys.
Not a easy install on a Bronco raptor. You have to remove parts from the front end to get this bar on. There is no clearance on some bolts.
We ordered a top and within 7 business days it was in our drive. The quality is exceptional and the overall fit and finish is spot on. I will call out the packaging… took an engineering degree and an hour to get it unpacked but that’s a good thing! Whomever builds your crates and preps these for freight shipment needs to be building custom homes! We also installed the Molle panels and the fit is perfect. Could not be happier with the purchase!
Can't say enough how pleased I am. Went from a factory soft top to this. It's like a whole new vehicle. Fit, finish and quality are solid. Love this top
So it really looks amazing .. my only issue was the two bolts that are they supplied are so low profile it chipped the power coat away in that area only on the one side.. bummer truck has 534 miles in it and was trying to have it look mint and and oem feelin with this baja bar .. acouple thousandths or so it wouldn't of been an issue
The bracket is heavy duty and built well. The price is decent compared to similar products out there. The youtube install video was good quality other than the annoying loud background music. I do wish there were paper instructions as well because there was a really long bolt and a flat bracket that I had no idea what they were for. I wish they would have added welded nuts on the back for mounting the license plate because when it is on the bronco, those bolts will be hard to get to. I hope I never need to take my plate off. I have a sasquatch and the tire touches the light. They should reposition the light to the top for bigger tires. Overall, I am happy with my purchase since my aftermarket rear bumper has no spot for a plate.
These guys have been fantastic to work with. Have had the hardtop for about 6 months and everything is as good as the day I bought it. Packaging was superb. Just got the window kit and the same goes with it. Packaging couldn't have been any better. Their communication has always been concise and accurate. Highly recommend their products!
